Crystals have been held in awe and revered for thousands of years. They were used by the Eqyptians. Tutankhamun’s funeral mask was made of gold but was inlaid with lapis lazuli, carnelian, quartz, obsidian and turquoise. The breastplate of Aaron has 12 crystals. Each crystal represents one of Jacob’s 12 sons and, subsequently, the tribe that came from them.

Crystals, literally, are a history of the earth. They have been formed over millions of years. Looking at it another way, they can be regarded as having the earth’s DNA. They are the children of the earth.

Each crystal if defined by its internal structure. It has its own unique structure, a lattice. It makes no difference if it is a large crystal or a small one of the same crystal. They will have the same internal structure. They may appear initially as different externally. However, it is the internal structure that is critical in classifying crystals.

Two important aspects of crystals are its Hardness and Vibration and Color Meaning
